Hannah is a theatre designer/maker, having specialised in theatre for young audiences for 7 years. Much of Hannah's work is about creating vibrant interactive play spaces, which include a plethora of projects with Melbourne's Polyglot Theatre. She has worked extensively with children with disabilities for the past four years, collaborating, designing and making interactive sensory environments.
Hannah graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Specialising in Performance Design Realisation, since graduating Hannah has worked across theatre, film and television and art therapy as a designer and artist and has toured domestically and internationally as tour and production manager.
In 2019 Hannah's design for Mad as a Cute Snake was nominated for a Greenroom award for best Design in an Independent Children's Work.
In 2020 Hannah worked as co-creative director on It's A Mad World, Satellite Foundation, an online exhibition of work based on the experiences of six young participants living with a loved one with mental illness. Hannah loves engaging and creating work with and for people with limited access to mainstream art events. Whether experiencing physical, intellectual, cultural or financial boundaries, Hannah believes strongly in the healing qualities the arts can have and the importance of making it accessible to all.
