HANNAH Murphy is a Melbourne based theatre designer/maker who graduated from VCA in 2015 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production Design Realisation). In 2019 Hannah was designer of Polyglot’s Feast at Melbourne Arts Centre, designer/maker for Bukjeh, a public installation and performance seen at Bunjil Place, Shepparton’s African House and Due West Festival, as well as co-designer for Melbourne Fringe’s 2019 Best Kids Event, Mad As A Cute Snake and assistant set designer to Jacob Nash for Ilbijerri and Te Rēhia Theatre’s Black Ties.
Hannah has worked with Polyglot Theatre Company since 2015 in a myriad of roles including designer, production manager and props and costume maker. 2019 has seen Hannah work with a diverse range of artists, communities and companies, creating immersive experiences for audiences of all ages and abilities supporting cultural storytelling and sharing, and designing unique and exciting theatrical events for Melbourne and around the world.
