Taking the passing of one year of time as inspiration, ONLY A YEAR is a delightful and poignant immersive, sensory theatre work for 0-12 month olds and their carers which looks at the first year of life as both the longest AND shortest time imaginable. Babies are taken on a journey through the senses which explores the seasonal changes of a year, and transforms the familiar aspects of a babies world into things new and exciting.
Carers experience the work as both facilitators of their baby’s experience and as an opportunity to reflect on the joyous and challenging quagmire of the first year of an infant’s life. Created by an exceptional team of artists in consultation with a bunch of terrific little people and their adults, ONLY A YEAR is a truly unforgettable experience for babies and parents and a rare opportunity for creative reflection and connection on parenthood.
